So we've been a little less than diligent in posting in between the SYTYCD seasons. We hope you'll forgive us.
Things are gearing up - both for the new season of So You Think You Can Dance US and So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
SYTYCD US premieres towards the end of May, so keep your eyes open for TV promos any day now.
This weekend marked the first round of auditions for SYTYCD Canada in Vancouver. Lainey from Lainey Gossip has been Twittering (tweeting?) all weekend from the auditions. Give it a read, it's quite entertaining.
**As an aside, for those of you who are Twilight fans who haven't been reading Lainey Gossip, you should be. She's quite literally got updates from filming in Vancouver nearly ever day, always with pictures.
In the not so good news category, the Associated Press is reporting that repeat choreographer on SYTYCD US, Alex Da Silva has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and possibly rape. I'm guessing we won't be seeing him on the show this season.
UPDATE: According to the Associated Press, Alex Da Silva has been released and no charges have been filed due to a lack of evidence. In a rather creepy statement from Da Silva's attorney, Da Silva claims that the accusing women

don't understand the difference between being seduced and being raped.Someone might want to tell Da Silva that if it's hard to tell whether you're being seduced or raped, chances are the seducer is doing it wrong.
